Gingival graft with crowns on the left central and lateral incisors
Diagnosis
Margarida came to us with a problem in the left central and lateral incisors, resulting from a devitalisation to these same teeth, besides the application of two already deteriorated acrylic crowns. By having thin gums, the dark roots of the devitalized teeth were transparent, giving a dark tint to this area.
Treatment
The treatment went through the placement of two temporary crowns returning the healthy aspect to the gum. A soft tissue graft was then performed to resolve the darkened coloration of the latter. After obtaining good stability of the gingiva, two ceramic crowns were placed. In the end, Margarida managed to maintain the same identity of the smile, always in function of the existing natural teeth
